  1. hey man,

I think the audio is jumping at the beginning around the first minute. ( i think) Mine was doing that also, but i had to convert the file to m4a from mp3 and it was fine. Other than that, is there any other interviews you have? or are you doing it solely on that one person? Finally, i think you should use some of those shots during the interview to mix it up, or add some pictures when he is talking.
Other than that, it was great! looking forward to seeing the finished product!

its right at 1:47-2:00 mark. (i think) im not sure if thats how the song goes but it sounds like it is jumping like mine was before i converted it.

  2. 2 whole minutes of nothing at the beginning lol if you could use something other than some awkward trap remix of the national anthem that would be much better, like, maybe the real national anthem. This piece doesn't call for heavy bass and just kills whatever message you're going for. Also, a simple crossfade of the audio going into the interview is very needed. Check your focus please. The interview is good. Audio isn't too bad or distracting. Don't use those crazy transitions. Nobody is going to go "Wow, a ripple? Haven't seen anyone use those before!" Sorry, it's the end of the semester and I'm cranky.

  3. I agree that those transitions are a bit awkward. Would like to see those go away. And I agree that I'm not positive that that is the right music choice or at least it doesn't fit with this particular interviewee.

  4. This entire piece is incredibly awkward. The subject is good and meaningful. But the song at the beginning is extremely cheesy and completely ruins the vibe for the piece. It would be so much more effective to have a classic and emotional version of the song. The text looks cheesy and the quote doesn't make that much sense. The images in the beginning are extremely awkward and have nothing to do with the subject. Keep it simple. The framing is also not good for the interview. It's a 1/10. Sorry to be harsh. But it seems like you don't take veteran's seriously based on this work.
